Writing High-Quality Multiple-Choice Questions for Law Professors

August 13, 2015
Presented by Beth Donahue, CEO, BarCrowd LLC Recorded on May 1, 2014 The multiple-choice format seems easy until you start drafting a question. Providing your students with a selection of answer options gives you a powerful way to test a particular issue and set of misconceptions. Unfortunately, those answer options can lead to a host of drafting and editing concerns for you. This webinar will introduce the "best practices" related to the three main components of multiple-choice questions within law programs: the facts, the prompt, and the options (not necessarily in that order). Presented by Ms. Beth Donahue, CEO, BarCrowd LLC. Beth Donahue is a former editor and program director of the Multistate Bar Examination, as well as a former manager of a large technical team developing online assessment programs for K-12 standardized tests. She is the co-founder of BarCrowd LLC, a company developing crowd-sourced assessment software for use as a teaching and learning tool in law schools.
