Quick Byte: To become better teachers, let's track what we teach

August 13, 2015
Presented by Mr. Eric Ermie, Director of Client Solutions, ExamSoft Syllabi are unquestionably the documents most commonly used as evidence of learning outcomes taught. But in actuality, they are really just documents showing intended teaching. Embedded assessments, on the other hand, use existing in-class assessment items and artifacts that are "tagged" to categories which can later be reported on to provide statistically accurate, real-time measures of student learning as it happens throughout the semester. In this first part of our faculty-focused "quick update" webinar series, join Mr. Eric Ermie for a discussion about how to create a categorization structure to use for tagging your assessment items and artifactsand get on the fast road to proving the effectiveness of your syllabi with real, hard data. (Recorded on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at 3pm ET)
