The Case for Mobile Electronic Exams

August 13, 2015
Presented by: Dr. Kenneth Kent, Director, Removable Prosthodontics & ExamSoft Pioneer / Champion; Maria Mejia, Director, Online Learning; Ryan Burkhart, Implementation Project Manager & Multimedia Designer; Chia-Wei Wu, Associate Director of Online Curriculum Design; and LaTonya Bennett, Student Portfolio Manager (All of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine) In this week's session, the ExamSoft Implementation Team at Penn Dental Medicine (PDM) in Philadelphia, PA will share how electronic exams helped drive their tablet initiative, known as Digital Impressions. In less than a year, PDM has gone from piloting this solution in a few courses to deploying across nearly all first-year classes. The Implementation Team will cover the following: rationale for choosing ExamSoft as their assessment and learning analytics platform, cross-departmental collaboration, why they invested in a mobile solution, and lessons learned/practical tips for implementing such a solution at your institution. (Recorded on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at 3pm ET)
