The "life" behind the data

August 13, 2015
Thus far in our faculty-focused "quick update" webinar series, we've talked about the benefits of creating a category system to tag our student learning assessment instruments with, as well as how to ensure that they best reflect the actual teaching that was given in the classroom. Now, let's dig behind the data we've gotten back from the delivery of our assessments to unlock keys for better engaging our students. In this presentation, Mr. Eric Ermie will discuss how to read behind these data points to "close the feedback loop," identifying which students need targeted remediation and in what area(s), which desired outcomes the class as a whole could improve on, and which areas provide, for you, the greatest opportunities for your improvement as a teacher. (Recorded on May 22, 2014, at 3pm ET)
