Presented by Dr. Ronald Carriveau, Outcomes, Assessment and Measured Specialist, University of North Texas and Dr. Mike Simmons, Senior Associate Director, Assessment and Redesign, University of North Texas In Part 1 of Developing and Managing an Outcome Based Assessment System That Meets the Need of All Stakeholders: From Student and Instructor To Institution and Accreditor series, Dr. Carriveau and Dr. Simmons will present a three-level structure for creating measurable student-learning outcome- statements and for calculating attainment of the learning outcomes. The three-level structure is used to write and code outcome statements. It will be shown how listing, tagging, and organizing outcome statements with ExamSoft facilitates the process and how outcome attainment values can be automatically calculated and reported for multiple-choice and constructed response tests.
