Help! I need to write an assessment!

August 13, 2015
Presented by Mr. Eric Ermie, Director of Client Solutions, ExamSoft We know that we can't give our students nonsensical instruction and expect them to produce good work, and that to create an effective assignment or exam, we need to challenge our students fairly based on the material to which we introduced them. Then, we find ourselves at the end of the night, fatigued because we've just finished graded today's assignments, tasked with coming up with new assignments for our students to complete tomorrow. How can we best ensure that the new student learning assessment instruments we create for our students are valid and rigorous? For the second part of our faculty-focused "quick byte" webinar series, Mr. Eric Ermie will speak about writing and maintaining sound items to use for your student learning assessments, so you can be sure you're always giving your students the most rigorous and valid work possible. (Recorded on May 21, 2014, at 3pm ET)
