Demonstrating the relevance of assessment to faculty

August 13, 2015
Presented by Dr. Jennifer Mathews, Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Science, St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy Faculty can often feel that assessment is something done to them instead of viewing assessment as something they already do every day. This session will provide a nuts-and-bolts look at how faculty can be encouraged to be a part of the process in creating a culture of assessment. Issues of faculty development, course mapping, exam blueprinting, and effectively using assessment data in the classroom and within quality improvement processes will be addressed. Faculty will be encouraged to take ownership of their assessment data for use in annual evaluations and in the tenure and promotion process. (Recorded on September 17, 2014, at 11am ET)
