Creating Collaboration Among Competitive Institutions

Creating Collaboration Among Competitive Institutions

Recently, Amy Simolo, M.S., Ed.D, Director of the Academy for Teaching Excellence at New York Chiropractic College, discussed her program’s ExamSoft implementation and training techniques in her webinar, “Creating Collaboration Among Competitive Institutions.”

The key takeaways from the presentation include:

1. Keep in mind that all institutions involved in the collaboration group have the same goal, creating better education for our students.

2. Sharing an assessment program across institutions ensures that data is analyzed similarly and can be accurately compared.

3. Inviting your ExamSoft representative to collaboration group discussions helps give both the group and ExamSoft insight into software concerns or suggestions for updates.

The presentation gives insight into the purpose of creating a collaboration group. Simolo also shared specific logistics of creating said group, as well as lessons learned along the way.

“Why fumble through a new process alone when you can have support and inspiration from a group of like-minded peers?”
