How to Get Started: Planning, Goals, and Implementation of a New CBT/Assessment Model

Recently,  Evan Sanders, Associate Director of Curriculum Services, Harvard Medical School/Program in Medical Education, presented his tips and tricks on implementing a computer-based testing (CBT) model in his webinar, “How to Get Started: Planning, Goals, and Implementation of a New CBT/Assessment Model." Evan leads a team that is dedicated to the administrative management of the basic and social science curriculum required of all medical and dental students, and is also active in strategic planning for the curriculum and related initiatives such as teaching and learning space design and grant-funded educational projects.

He also offers insight on how to overcome factors that may inhibit the adoption of a CBT platform, and includes an interactive discussion about identifying and balancing short- and long-term CBT goals.
