With the recent changes in the American Bar Association’s accreditation language, assessment is becoming a more substantial part of a law student’s experience. Law schools will be expected to articulate exactly what students are going to learn, provide ways to measure what they learn, and provide the feedback loop to improve a student’s comprehension and understanding. Fortunately, we can leverage learning objectives, rubrics, and formative feedback to meet these needs in law school.
