Assessing and Reporting Student Learning Outcomes in Nursing Programs

August 13, 2015
Presented by Michelle Cruz, Graduate Program Assistant, Oregon Health and Science University School of Nursing Nursing schools at every level of education are under immense pressure to track, analyze, and report on student learning to accrediting bodies, state boards of nursing, and more. But many programs find themselves wondering how best to collect and report these data, leveraging every possible existing resource while maintaining rigorous, impenetrable standards of data collection. These challenges are amplified in distance-learning programs, which must service students from afar while still collecting these data. In this webinar, Ms. Michelle Cruz of the Oregon Health & Science University School of Nursing (OHSU SON) will discuss the methodologies used at OHSU SON's distance learning program to assess learning, create effective educational strategies based on those assessment data generated, and then reporting these data back to accreditors and more. (Recorded on June 19, 2014, at 11am PT)
