Assessing student competency can be a complex and multi-faceted process – but the New York Chiropractic College has implemented an assessment procedure to make practical examinations as simple as possible. By utilizing ExamSoft for both practical and clinical skill assessments, the program can tag both formative exams and their clinical rubrics to competencies, and thus, faculty and mentors have the tools to provide students with detailed feedback on their actual performance and develop targeted remediation opportunities.
