EAC 2017 Highlights: New ways to use assessment to your benefit…and bacon!

June 27, 2017 Christy Terry

There is no denying that the third annual ExamSoft Assessment Conference (EAC) was a resounding success. Our attendees made their way to Denver, Colorado, for an event filled with learning, laughter, and a few surprises here and there.

The Denver Marriott City Center hotel hosted this year’s conference, providing a bustling city backdrop and break snacks that were all the rage.

Dr. Michael Wesch delivered an inspiring keynote presentation, encouraging attendees to approach assessment with the goal of equipping students not only to achieve academic success but also success in all areas of their lives.

As always, conference sessions provided tips on techniques for creating a more efficient and effective assessment process overall. From rubrics to categories and everything in between, attendees were privy to best practices designed to help them administer assessment that delivers valuable results. There were even training sessions dedicated to ExamSoft’s new products.

Speaking of new products, attendees were given a sneak peek at our software updates during our phenomenal executive keynote, and our CEO let the crowd in on a big announcement:

Starting in September, ExamSoft will offer 24/7 customer support. That’s right. No matter the issue, no matter the hour, our world-class support team will be available to lend a helping hand.

It wasn’t all training and business, though. There were plenty of fun and games, quite literally, to be had.

EAC 2017 was definitely one for the books. We’d like to thank all of our fabulous attendees; we couldn’t have done it without you, and we can’t wait to do it again, bigger, better, and by the sea next year!
