August 13, 2015

Presented by Dr. Sherry Jimenez, Associate Dean of Educational Assessment and Interprofessional Education at Lincoln Memorial - DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine ABSTRACT: This webinar will introduce attendees to developing a coding structure to accompany test items (written and practical) that can be used for curricular quality assurance purposes within assessment software. Code/category development can be applied across multiple disciplines in undergraduate, graduate and professional education. Creating a culture of evidence and involving key stakeholders in this process will also be discussed. Audience interaction will take the form of polling to ascertain attendees who are new to coding test items and/or new to using examination data for quality assurance. (Recorded on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at 3pm ET)
